Length of Venue Appointments?

I want to start booking appointments to check out venues. Can anyone give me an idea of how long an appointment can run? I have multiple venues in the same town I want to check out and want to attempt to see more than 1 at an outing.

They shouldn't last more than a half hour. Someone gives you a tour of the place and then you sit down to talk numbers and details.

depends on the sales p person, the lady at thatched cottage had us there for over an hour. my rule of thumb was an figure an hour to play out safe.

i kept 2 hours in between. places we didnt like i was in & out in a half hour- places i was interested in i was there about 1 hr to 1 hr & a half

I would say bet on each appointment lasting about an hour. Leave an hour in between appointments. You can always stop for coffee somewhere during that time. Have fun! Searching for a venue was my absolute favorite part of the wedding planning process!
