every place setting had at least 1 dish with some sought of flaw!
small little hole in the metal, a smudge, a crack!, all these little imperfections...the rings on the saucer were uneven!!
I spend SO MANY HOURS giving back, loooking, trying to get better pieces at fortunoff clearance
Guy there said maybe they are mass producing this style TOO fast..
Other girls got the pearl innocense and had no problem w/ any pieces!
What has your experience been?

I think it is very normal for china to have small imperfections- I don't know how noticeable yours are, and I don't really recall there being anything when we looked over ours, but is it possible just a normal flaw?

I picked opal innocense but I haven't gotten any pieces yet. I was thinking - maybe some people bought settings at the outlet. Maybe that's why they aren't looking so good? Just a thought. I got that pattern with the idea that people COULD go to the outlet and save money. I hope they pick out good pieces if they do!

some of mine were flawed and I returned them. They are too expensive not to be 100% satisfied.

I think that with more ornate china, there are more flaws.
I have Waterford Kilbarry platinum (I'll post pics) and out of service for 14, I have ZERO flaws.
My mom has Noritake Imperial Lace and I would say that she averages 1 flaw per every 2 5piece place settings (she's getting it now, so we're going through it as she gets it...)

I agree, but I also have a feeling that like Suven said, very ornate designs have a tendency to have small flaws here and there. I think it is nearly impossible to have all perfect pieces in a heavily designed piece of china like opal innocence. I will have to look back at mine-
How bad are the flaws? Are they very visible to the eye or do you really have to lok to find them?

Re: LENOX OPAL INNOCENSE...WHAT'S THE DEAL!!
I have gotten four place settings so far, but I didn't automatically notice anything, but after reading this post maybe I will look a little harder! Thanks for the heads up!
