Leonards brides

Did anyone ask if we get to taste the cake before we choose? I completely forgot to ask...

There is a tasting on the 30th and I hope to taste the cake there! Are you going to the tasting?

I would really like to make it for Nov. 30th.. Unfortunately I moved to Georgia not long ago and traveling back and forth while I'm in a the middle of wedding planning is not good... $$$

But definitely try something for me!! I will try my best to make it on the 30th!!

Re: Leonards brides

nope but i ve heard they look pretty out dated, i wanted to pay alittle more to go with an outside vendor for a cake, but i recently went to a wedding and honestly didnt even notice the cake, i looked at it and that was about it...i dont think i can spend more $ on anything that isnt necessary, so ill just go with whatever leonards gives us....were also having the vienesse hour

Re: Leonards brides

They dont let you taste the cake at the food tasting .. actually no deserts at the food tasting that I went too .. so probably three months before when you meet with food people and pick your choices and cake they might let you try different flavors .. I cant imagine they dont

I have seen the cakes there and they dont look outdated (I saw one of the free ones and it was beautiful). We arent going to upgrade because we are having the VH and people arent going to be eating the cake with all the stuff they are going to serve at the VH!!!

Well, my BM told me that when we go to pick it out they show us in book and pictures to pick it out and we have a choice of three free ones. Well one day we went to go pay and there was a wedding about to start and he told us to go look in the room at the set up (because the wedding was in our room) so we did. The whole room looked great! Our will look better because our flowers are nicer! anyway, he told me to go look at the cake and I said I loved it. It was simple and elegant and her florist added flowers to it and he told me that was one of the free ones. So Im def sticking to free since we are doing the VH

I think when we go to the tasting I am going to ask to see the cake book! We are also have a VH so I don't want to go to crazy on the cake. I feel like not many people will eat tthe cake because there are so many choices in the VH. From the way the list sounded I think the VH is going to be amazing!!!!

I already asked! They dont have the cake book to show you. The only guys who have it is the people that you speak to to go over your menu so you only really get to see it like three months before when you make your final menu choices. But I wouldnt worry about it. My BM told me that if we didnt like any of the free cakes that they can make anything we want (we can bring the pic in if we want) but that we would have to pay the extra cost
