Leonards of Great Neck

Hey '05 girls...I just got engaged and am considering Leonards for my reception hall in 2006. Has anyone had/having a wedding there that can provide me with a quote and/or some info??

Thanks so much!

I went there for my sil wedding it was dark inside the food was not as good as I expected. I kept hearing all this great stuff about it and was not really impressed. FYI

I went to a wedding there and although the place is very nice I was annoyed by a few things.
1. WHen we walked in there was someone standing at the door that asked us who we were there for and then proceeded to look at a very long list to tell us what room to go to. They have multiple functions going on at the same time.
2. The couple had their ceremony there as well so we went to the 3rd floor for the ceremony & then to the 1st floor for the cocktail hour & then we went back upstairs to the 3rd floor (the room right next to the ceremony) for the reception. it was alot of up & down--they have an elevator but I thought it was a lot if you have older people.
3. There was always a drink line that was 20 people long so it took a really long time for guests to get drinks.

JMO--but I think the place is beautiful.

I am having my wedding there soon, 20 days . I loved the place. I thought it was very pretty.
But it is true about being prepared to be all over the place. We have our ceremony on second floor, cocktail on the first and reception on the third. Plus, there will be probably lots of parties there.

Oh well! What you gonna do!

I love the hall, and the food everyone says is pretty good. The price is more affordable than some others we looked at, and, we loved the location.
