We are planning to marry either December 2008 or April 2009... Yesterday I went to look at Leonards of Great Neck and thought it was beautiful!!! I am tossed between Jericho Terrace and Leonards now.. can anyone offer thier opinions on both? I would appreciate any feedback, positive or negative!!
Thanks!!!

Re: Leonards of Great Neck anyone?
My friend got married at Leonards a couple of years ago and it was very nice. Not our style, but still very nice.
Jericho Terrace was our second choice but the only room we could have booked was their smallest room (Oak Room) and I felt like it would be too tight for us so we didn't book. But I've only heard great things about JT.
I don't think you'd go wrong with either!

I always say try the food because that is what the guests always remember when leaving how satisfied with the their meal

Re: Leonards of Great Neck anyone?
So Funny because my FI's brother just got married and had the reception adn Leonard's (it was a great wedding) and we are having our reception at JT. JT is more our style (obviously) but Leonard's was really nice. Did you check the price difference? Because there was quite a difference in price and our weddings are only 5 months apart. I know time of year plays a part but we looked at Feb. 07 way back and Leonard's definitely gave them a better price. Good Luck. Both are great choices IMO.

Re: Leonards of Great Neck anyone?
Leonards gave us same price pp for either Dec 08 or April 09 which was great.. JT to have in December on a Friday night was about $10 more pp.. still not bad, but I have to consider $10 pp adds up..which can be put to other things. At JT we liked the Skylight room and Terrace room for CH.. Leonards, the room we liked (cant remember the name) but it was the one downstairs which you can go outside to the patio .. and the CH was on the main floor .. Whoa.. Im glad to be hearing good opinions on both places!!

That's where we're having our wedding...It came highly recommended by lots of ppl. I tried the cocktails there and they were delicious! Many ppl say that the food there is great! I can only wait to have my wedding there. I did learn something about the place that I didn't like, which was the multiple weddings at a time. I'm hoping there's not many weddings on my day!

I was married at Leonard's and the wedding went perfectly. Pics in album. JT is gorgeous too though. My dream room was the dome room actually but there was no way I could have made the guest minimum so we went with Leonards.

Both places are very beautiful. I have been to functions at both venues. Its hard to pick, you shoud see which RH offers more for the money. Think about location, area, the decor, pic opportunities, outdoorsy (if thats important), etc

I actually had to choose between JT and Leonard's and I went with Leonards...it was a lower price per person and Leonards is really my style...I like the extravagance!

Re: Leonards of Great Neck anyone?
I got married at Leonards and it was great. Please see my review! The best thing is that they work in your price budget. I chose to get married on a Saturday in Sept and added lots of extras so my pp was pretty expsensive but that was my choice.
They offer food tastings. Go and try it. The good was amazing!
