Leonards v. Crest Hollow

Leonards v. Crest Hollow

Our wedding is at Leonard's next weekend so I can give you a full report soon! Fi's uncle has had Sweet 16's and then later weddings, for both 2 of his daughters there, and when he remarried the reception was there so it has great family recommendations. The food at the tasting was great! We looked at several places, trying to keep the per plate under $70 for a Saturday afternoon, and we managed to do it at Leonard's. I especially liked the lace overlay on the tables, which I thought added a nice elegance. Some places we looked at were pretty plain and would need some effort to dress them up to look like a wedding - not Leonard's. It is 'glitzy' but they do the glitz well - nice crystal chandeliers, not glass and chrome. As with any place, be sure you get everything your salesperson offers in full sentances and great detail on the contract. Our contract said 'cake upgrade' after we negotiated that, and when we went for the final meeting with the banquet manager, he was trying to tell us that meant it was an option, not that it was included. We were able to straighten that out, but you don't need the hassle so be sure everything is detailed. Watch for a full report in a few weeks!
