Leonard's? Would LOVE your opinion...

OK I am pretty new to the site so I'm not sure if there is somewhere else I should go to look for this info!!! I looked in the 'reviews' section but there was only one review.... so I'm looking for some opinions of Leonard's of Great Neck. I am having a small wedding of about 60-75 and I really like their smallest room. However, I have never been to a wedding at Leonard's and don't know anyone who got married there. So if you have ANYthing to say about it, I would love to hear it.

How is the food?
It is a very pretty place, but do you think it's 'too much' (it's very ornate as compared with some other places such as country clubs)? I feel like I saw SO many mirrors yesterday which I liked, but a little part of me thinks it might be a bit much?

Please let me hear the good, the bad and the ugly... I would much rather know your honest opinion!!! Thanks!

I got married at Leonard's and this is my honest opinion. I think that the food is amazing there! Definately one of the best and I have been to about 75% of catering calls on Long Island BUT
make sure you are very detailed in what you want otherwise things can go wrong.

For the most part my wedding was great only a few glitches.

I happen to think the place is beautiful!

I'm getting married there next year, and I think the place is beeautiful! Everyone that knows i'm having my reception there thinks so too...GO FOR IT!

P.S. If you want to find some more reviews from Leonard's brides, go to search, and in the 'search for word or phrase' box, type in 'Leonard' and then in the 'Search Forum' section, select 'The Brides Review'

That way, you'll find every single wedding review from Leonard's Brides....

One of my BM's had her reception there 3 years ago. It was very nice. She had the large ballroom right when you walk in. I think it's a very pretty place.

i am getting married there in 3 monthes(woo hoo) and i love the place.. the prices aren't bad, i love the look, i love the fact that there is someplace on the grounds to take pictures.. and b/c fh family is from LI and Mine is from NJ and bklyn it was in the middle and it worked for us... there are alot more factors that we considered when choosing our venue.
