OK I have a bit of an issue.. I made out my guest list a long time ago and just realized something... One couple I invited, the one girl had an affair with one of our students (college and they are the same age) that I am now good friends with (she came and worked for me after grad). What do I do? They are all good friends. The girl I worked with just let me know she had an affair with the female student... she is freaking cause she knows shes on my guest list and she is scared that she will tell her girlfriend she had the affair. The student is now in a realtionsip with someone else and marrying her in October. However ... she has NEVER gotten over her fling with my other friend....
What it comes down to is this one is afraid the other will tell on her at the wedding... The other tells me she won't say a word but has never gotten over the fling.
Of course FH is NOOOO help here he gave me a typical guy answer....
PS they BOTH want to come and are looking forward to it.

Re: Lesbian Drama what do i do?
IMO, it's not your problem. If you want them both at your wedding, than this is something they will have to sort out themselve.
That's SUX though! Good luck!

As much as I know you love your friends - I would say this is not your problem. You are inviting those you care about to your wedding, regardless of issues they have with each other. If it's going to be that hard for the student to see your friend, she needs to decide if it's worth missing your wedding. And vice versa for the friend who's afraid the student will tell her current GF about the fling (But why would the student tell? It would only get her in trouble too.) See what I am saying here? If they are both mature adults, which I assume they are, they should be able to handle this either between themselves or ignore the whole thing and come to the wedding and have a fantastic time.
Hope your friends work this out and that you are not too involved - you have plenty of other things to occupy your time I am sure!!!!!

i completely agree. whether it's guys or girls it's their own problem. they're adults it's their responsibility to act like one.

exactly....this, while it BLOWS, is not your problem! Let them both know that you are sorry they are in this situation, and the only thing you can do is not sit them together. Other than that - it's out of your hands.

I was thinking just that... they are adults... they should know how to behave at a wedding.... I think I am just kinda amazed at the whole situation.... The things I am finding out about my friends and family recently are just insane

it can go either way Jody... Weddings can bring out the BEST in some people and the WORST in others...be happy that this is at least comical!

I think we all agree here - you obviouslly care about your friends but this is not something you need to worry about - they had the fling/afffair/relationship and hopefully are both adult enough to say they are happy for each other in their current relationships & come together to celebrate their friends wedding.

OMG Jess... You have no idea the look on my face when my one friend called... then I hung up and just laughed and laughed until I had tears in my eyes... then I called the other and was like well.... and she goes into the details.... I was just like D A M N... I didn't need details... Just wanted to kinda make sure Friend #1 was talking about the right person.... To top it ALL off my sister knew all about it and never told me.....She seen them at the 'club' and knew this for like a yr.
