Leslie Sansone -- Walk Away the Pounds

Has any one done this?

I bought it a while ago and just used it this morning. It was the one where you do walk/jog intervals. I felt like it was a really good workout (this is coming from someone who is really out of shape).

Just wanted to know if you've tried it.

Re: Leslie Sansone -- Walk Away the Pounds

I LOVE these. I have done WW on and off for what seems like forever. When I rejoined this last time, I was determined to do some kind of exercise. I had done a lot of walking, but once the weather got colder, I would stop and do nothing all winter. I had heard about these from people on the WW website message boards and I got them because one of the women told me that you did not have to be really coordinated or have a huge area in which to work out. I bought the 3 DVD set at Target and started doing them and I really like them a lot. I hated many of the videos I tried before, I think b/c they were mainly aerobics and I was too out of shape to keep up.

I don't have the weighted balls she uses, I just use regular hand weights. I have since joined Curves, but do WATP on the days I don't go, or if I skip going and can't walk outside.

I like using the weights, it is a good workout. I do it on rainy days when I cant get to the track. I notice a difference in my legs and arms!

I haven't done that specific workout, but I have several of the WATP DVDs. I like that I can increase the intensity (by adding weights). Sometimes I will do them when I don't have a lot of energy, so I still get a decent workout without working really hard.

These DVDs were a godsend when I first started out because I was totally out of shape. They really helped me increase my stamina.

Of course, Leslie's constant chattering gets on my nerves, so I tune her out.
