I'm not sure of the prices but here are some suggestions...you can try Giorgios in Baiting Hollow, Vineyard Caterers (I think in Aquebogue), East Wind in Wading River, Miller Place Inn in Miller Place, Majestic Gardens (may also be in Wading River - I'm not sure). Good luck!!!

Thanks a bunch KP! I sooo want an evening wedding...can you wheel and deal for lower prices? OR do they all seem to be stuck on those prices? Like, we really don;t care much for seafood, so can probally do witout it except maye one shrimp thing...woner how/if that will cut corners at all....

Holly...you may be able to get a better price since your looking to get married in April which I believe is considered an 'off-peak' month. If you are set on an evening wedding than you may want to consider a Friday evening or Sunday evening. You can usually negotiate with the vendors but most of the time they are willing to throw in extras rather than lower the price.

Re: Less expensive for April 2004??
THanks Mrs. M! I can;t do a Sunday or Friday night, being I am living inn Rhode Island currently...and we have lots of guests coming from Rhode Island, as well as my FH's family is all from NJ...so the best for us is going to be a Sat Night...guess we will have to **** it up if we want it on a Sat night....

Re: Less expensive for April 2004??
I can understand that...both my fiance and I are currently living in New Jersey so we needed our wedding to be on a Saturday evening as well (I was set on an evening wedding too). I don't think you'll have a problem find something under $100 even on a Saturday night. One question though, are you trying to keep it under $100 including tax and gratuity? On top of the base price they hit you with an 18% service charge and 8.5% sales tax which usually bring the per head charge up at least $20.

Re: Less expensive for April 2004??
We can deal with the extra tax and gratuity charges, but wanna keep the actual price under 100 (before that tax and grat set in!) Its my parents first time planning a wedding, as well as mine...so its a learning experience for all of us...I had 3 cousins married in the family...1 in a field of sunflowers, with a reception under a tent at her parents....the other ceremony at the beach, reception at bridgehampton beach club, and the other one most recent the ceremony was in her grandmothers yard, with the reception at Bridgehampton Community House...I kinda want to stay away from those routes....my friend had her s at West Wind and had nothing bad to say about it at all!!! I am hopingh our wedding in April is considered off season, or we were even contemplating the lst Sat in March....will have to see....Thanks for all the help!

Re: Less expensive for April 2004??
I am getting married at the Riviera in Massapequa, in July of 2004, and I was quoted a rate of under $100 before tax and gratuity when I booked last year. I know they offer special rates during winter months which would be in April. Give them a call and check them out. 516-541-5020.
