Less Than 1 year to go + Bridesmaid Question

So yesterday marked my 1 year to go!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!

My best friend (a BM) and I went to look for BM dresses yesterday at David's Bridal and Estelle's.

Estelle's was a joke - half the dresses were ripped and it just gave me a feeling of stress. We found two in David's Bridal, but one of them probably wouldn't be flattering on all the girls. My question is - does different David's Bridal's carry different styles? I want a floor length chiffon dress, but I really don't want the plain criss-cross top. We went to the Massapequa location and their selection was really limited. In fact - one of the dresses was actually a MOB dress...

Also, I don't want them to spend more than $200 tops. Any suggestions?

I'd look online on David's bridal and find styles you like and call other locations to see if they have them. I know the lake grove one has a huge selection, but I'm not sure about others or if they have exactly what you're looking for. I'd call before you make the trip anywhere far.

I know when I went looking for bridesmaids dresses I went online to sites such as David's Bridal, Bridal Reflections, etc. to see what styles were out there as well as prices. I did not want my ladies to have to spend a lot either. I printed out the styles I liked and shared them with my girls. I gave them my opinion of what style I liked but also wanted their feedback of how they felt with the dresses I had suggested. I would give them a call and ask if they carry the same styles?

Bridal reflections has a very large selection & pretty good prices. My bridesmaids dresses cost 163 each from Jordan fashions. also they store them there for u if they come in early..

I'm getting a $230 retail bridesmaid dress for $161 on netbride.com. I say go to other stores with brands like Bill Lekvoff, Jordans, Dessy, Alfred Angelo and if they have something you like then go through netbride.com to order the dresses for much cheaper or rkbridal no frills program.

for davids, look on their website, all the stores have varied selection but everything on the website. I highly recommend RK bridal in the city. a bit of a ride but definately worth it but definately MUST go during the week, its a mad house on the weekends. My girls got gorgeous dresses for 140.

Both Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and Elena Bridal Couture in Merrick quoted me under $200 for a Bill Levkoff floor-length chiffon dress. I've had nothing but great experiences with both places so far, so I would definitely at least call them up after you've found a dress!

Bridal reflections in massapequa has a big selection of bridesmaid dresses...I'm sure they have dresses in all price ranges. Plus if all your girls are buying in one store you can negotiate, thats what I did though I didn't buy from there. Good luck! Sorry, 2014'er crashing!
