Is anyone else feeling this way? Have any of the married ladies experienced this?
I've worked so hard on this wedding, put so much of myself into the details, trying to make it feel special and charming and warm for my guests. Now I'm less than two weeks away and I'm completely freaking out that all of the special touches won't work together, that it won't have the ambience I was trying to create, that no one will notice the work I put in, etc....
I keep trying to picture everything from beginning to end, but it's like I just can't see it anymore!!
Advice?

Re: Less than 2 weeks and panic setting in...
we got our marriage license this morning and it totally made me realize how close and quickly it's coming.
I know how you feel and I have a bunch of unfinished touches that I need to do (and i'll be away for four days this weekend for my bach party) but honestly I might not have even done some of this stuff if not for this site, i didn't go too crazy with DIYs, and if some don't get done it will be okay. Unless it's really major stuff (like I still can't decide on ceremony music and a first dance or entrance song) I wouldn't stress. Just be excited!!!
Though I'm not going to lie - i was having heart palpitations this morning after we got our license!

We got our license this morning too! The whole time I was planning on just kept thinking 'charming and warm, charming and warm' and it is SO important to me that my guests feel that. I'm just worried it won't carry over...
Have FUN at your bach party!!!

okay.....(that TOTALLY works btw - my therapist told me about it...it brings your heart rate down)
you need to take a minute and be happy for yourself. You have kept it together until now...and that's something to be proud of.
make yourself a list of the things that you are freaking out about. then - sit down, preferably with a bottle of wine and a good friend and laugh about how crazy you are for thinking that all the items on your list will go wrong.
you made OOT boxes, imagine if there was a flood at the hotel and they all got soaked and the nice sunflower seeds you had in there started flowering in the boxes... make a joke of it...
i promise that the feeling will go away for good the minute you drop your stuff off at the RH. everything from that moment on is out of your hands...and GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!

one thing i did forget to add to my post.....
realize that all of the people coming to your wedding are coming to see YOU & FH get married! they aren't coming for the treats that they'll get....they aren't coming for the band you are having, or not having.....
they are coming to see you and the love of your life get married.....all they really care about is seeing you both happy.

I think no matter what your day will be wonderful! Unfortunately ithink we all bug out about the little details (trust me i do) and in reality no one notices all the thought and effort that went into everything looking beautiful and running smoothly....I just bugged out today that my aisle runner is white and my pew bows are ivory....I have to exchange the runner now b/c I said i worked so hard at having everything match i might as well not stop there! in reality I don't think 1 person would point out the white runner..lol Hang in there and try to relax...i need to take my own advice!!!

Oh my gosh, that is such good advice. I have a meeting with my DOC tomorrow, and I think that is partially why I am nervous. THinking about getting everything together to give her and thinking about all the details and handing it all over, etc. But you are RIGHT. People are coming to see us happy, not to attend the party of the year :)

You DO need to breathe, too!!! I can completely understand about the aisle runner though. I've been obsessed with Navy satin ribbons!!!
Our days will all be perfect, because they are our weddings!

What you are going through is very normal. I wasn't able to sleep, think, do anything just running around like a chiken without a head. You will also get cranky so warn FH. It will all be worth it on your beautiful day I think the stress just adds to how much you will enjoy your HM.

I can't WAIT to be on my honeymoon :)
I hope all of the anxiety goes away soon - i'm not being very productive at work!!
