He proposed in our house and totally caught me off guard. I had a feeling it was coming...esp since he asked me if I wanted to go to the botanical gardens and dinner on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx (my favorite restaurant). So the night before we were supposed to go, which was a friday, I figured we would chill out, get chinese and watch TV. I came in all scrubbed out..wearing sneakers and he had the whole house decorated with candles and rose petals. It was all very sweet!
