Less than 5 months to go and...

I think that yesterday, I decided to change my entire color scheme. Is that crazy? I'm getting married outside in a garden at a country inn in New England. Originally, I was thinking pink, yellow, and orange. The combo was very summery and light and pretty But yesterday, we went looking at invitations, and found this:



The ink is actually much brighter orange. The orange and the grey-ish blue look SOOOO good together. AND, by coincidence, before I went to the invitations lady, I stopped by Roosevelt Field and tried on this BM dress at Ann Taylor:



So I'm thinking... how about this icy blue dress with bright orange and pink wildflowers? I think they'd really pop against this dress, rather than my original idea of light pink dresses with pink, yellow, and orange. It's less summery, I guess, but cooler. I think. Ideas? Comments? Am I crazy?

i wanted to have a pink & green theme going on and i was doing fine, with the save the dates, will you be my bridesmaids, and i couldnt find dresses that i liked so i was going to forget it but then i found a pink/green dress really last minute and thats what we're using, But then I couldnt find any nice pink green invitations that i liked so i said whatever --- and we're doing silver.... and our centerpieces are going to be all white - elegant.
So there you go, I'm crazy with half the things not matching, but im doing what i want and what i like, So if you want to change things go ahead :)

Yes, the dress is part of their new spring collection so it looks light and bright in person. I just originally wanted everything orange, pink, and yellow and that's how I've always seen my wedding in my head.

but now I'm thinking of abandoning yellow entirely in favor of these dresses that make the flowers really POP. Plus, I think cornflower blue table runners would look great in the dining room with vases full of orange and pink wildflower CPs. I don't know! I'm so confused!

I love the BM dress... and I agree i think that the colors will pop against the icy blue.. beautiful!

that is very pretty... but if you want to keep your old color scheme you can have your invitation a little different then your colors in your wedding. people prob. wont remember!
