This week and the week after the due date they usually come pouring in. At least that's what happened to me. It's so suspensful!

how many people did you invite?
I'm obviously at magic #49 still. Not one RSVP card for several days...
Technically, I'm still expecting 20 cards..... Realistically, most of those are not likely to come. However, there are 15 people who legitimately may come....(8 virtually certain)
most in the RSVP black hole are on FH's side... so I'd have to get his mom to call them up
I hope it doesn't come to that point!

OMG. sometimes people are just inconsiderate... but don't stress out now, a lot of people wait til the last min. to send out responses. hope you will get them soon.

we had A LOT come in the first few weeks...
today I received two...
I think people forgot about it and we will be making phone calls but I will probably start the day or so after the rsvp date just because I need the head count for the hall, etc!

You may get a ton of them this week. Thats exactly what happened to us! But we still had to call people, b/c they are rude and cannot send back a stamped envelope!

Oh Man! That is a pet peeve of mine. I am not looking forward to that. My parents taught me proper equiette. Everyone tells me that me that I am always the 1st one to RSVP. I am also always sending thank you cards when I recieve a gift.
I hope and wish that you get the rest of the RSVP's this week. We wish the both of you best wishes on your special day.

I hope that's the case with us....
a lot of these people I can't contact via phone, becuase 1) I don't know them; 2) they're in australia or somewhere else unusual; 3) they don't speak any english
Judging on how long it took FMIL to fork over the addresses (1/3 were given to me AFTER the envelopes returned from the calligrapher ), I simply cannot depend upon her to call them for a final head count...
Now you're seeing more reasons why we sent out the invitations so early!

I'm dreading this part!!! I hope we don't have to deal with it. My FMIL and Aunt already said they will do the phone calling if needed, but I just hope it doesn't come to that!!!!
You poor thing.....that's A LOT of phone calls!!!!!
