Has anyone ever been to a wedding that was catered by Lessings? They have various locations in Suffolk County where they do events. I would just like some opinions of them or if you could share any experiences you've had with them. I went to a showcase they had at the Timber Point Country Club last weekend and was disappointed with the food. We really liked the Bourne Mansion though. Please help!!

I just spoke with a friend of mine yesterday who went to a wedding at the Bourne Mansion recently and she was raving about it. She loved the place and said the food was really good.
I know it's not much info, but unfortunately, that's all I know!

I think Lands End is one. If so, I went to a wedding there and it was great!

Land's End is by Lovin' Oven I think (as Flowerfield).
I got married at Smithtown Landing and had a very positive experience and the food was very good. I had great service as well.

2nd-time-around, Whew! That's reassuring to hear! I'm getting married there in Sept., but never hear anything about the place.

I had never even heard of it until my friend was talking about it. She was telling me 'you have to go and check this place out, it was so beautiful, the wedding was so great'. I'm only having a small wedding though, so it doesn't work for me. I'm sure you'll have a great wedding!

I went to a wedding at Smithtown Landing Country Club which is Lessings catered. They also run the refreshment stands at some Suffolk beaches like Sunken Meadow. To be honest, the food was OK.
