Lessings All Inclusive Vendor Insights?
Hi all!! I'm peeking at the Lessings All Inclusive specials for March 2015, and I'm kind of worried about the vendors that they offer. I'm particularly looking at Mansion at West Sayville, Brentwood Country Club, and Smithtown Landing. Most of the packages offer the same vendors: DJ is either TGIF or Just for the Record, Photographer is Park Avenue Studios, Bakery is Rolling Pin, Campbells Bakery, or Black Forest, Limo is Sir Oliver or Red Carpet, and Florists are Black Dahlia, Ken & Eva's Flower Cottage, or Bayport Flowers. Has anyone used any or all of these...or perhaps chosen a Lessings All Inclusive package and can share some insight into which vendors they selected, plus a review? Responses are always greatly appreciated :) Cheers to all!!!

Out of all the all-inclusive options out there I think Lessing's offers some of the better vendors IMO. My friend got married at Mansion at West Sayville and it was beautiful. She said her BM and Maitre'd were great.. The food was good and the view was awesome. She has some pretty amazing pictures (by Park Ave) of her and her new husband as the sun was setting. Park Ave was also great on the turn around. She had a CD of her pictures waiting for her when she got back from the honeymoon. Not sure why bakery she used but the cake was yummy. For limo she used Sir Oliver. My family has used them for years so we plan on using them for our wedding but it sold me when she said the guy fixing the train of her dress as she began walking down the aisle was her driver! She told me he was very attentive and great to work with. For flowers, they had Bayport Flower house and based on her recommendation I plan on looking into them for my wedding. Her flowers were simple, but fresh and beautifully bright in color. They definitely stand out nicely in the pictures. Lastly, the DJ was alright. They used Just for the Record and you can tell it was a pretty basic package. But the DJ/MC was great.. Never talking too much and when we did it was clear and correct (it always bugs me when they pronounce the bride and grooms name wrong). My cousins friend works for TGIF so I think we would've been happy with either. Sorry for the long post but I hope it helps! I went to another wedding that was 2 months before this one at a popular venue and it was probably double the budget but I have to say I think I had the most fun at the Mansion at West Sayville wedding. At the end of the day, it's how YOU connect with the vendors so give a couple of them an email or set up a meeting!

Thank you for the all inclusive response lol!! That's very helpful and makes me a lot more comfortable checking them out!! I really loved the pictures I saw from Park Ave at West Sayville the most! They stood out to me from all of the other Lessings venues they work with! Definitely going to set up an appointment to check out the venue! Thanks again for really covering all my questions!!

West Sayville is amazing. I'm getting married there next July. All the staff was very friendly and they are quick to get back to you with any questions. The views and the place is what sold me, there are a ton of photo opportunities too.

OMG this makes me so happy! I'm not using any of the vendors but to hear that you had the most fun at the wedding at west sayville makes me SOO happy to hear! I'm glad your friend had a lovely time! I was never doubting my venue or Steve and Annie but I just got nervous when everyone I tell is like 'oh i've never heard of that place'

I am getting married at timber point which is a Lessings venue but not an all inclusive. I went with some of the recommended vendors- park ave studios for photo and video. When we met with Brian we knew he was the one for us. He has been amazing to work with, all of my questions answered and never pressured us to book with him.....I think the other vendors are different so I can't help with those. ....price out what you would need extra of to see if the all inclusive would save you money and look into the vendors to make sure you're happy with them first. Check out when those venues are having an expo. I keno timber point is having theirs on the 23rd and park ave will be there

I'm getting married at SLCC. We were originally going to do the all inclusive package, but after crunching the numbers with all of the add ons that we would need, it was cheaper picking our own vendors. We found other options and after taxes and fees, we are pretty much paying the exact same amount as if we were doing the all inclusive.
