Hi again! Has anyone had experience with any Lessings facility, especially the Riverview? Thanks!

We looked there, but opted for Timber Point (also a Lessing's location). I did not like that there was no land outside of Riverview, though it was picturesque being on the water. Parking is always an issue, and I think you would have to get 2 valets as there is never enough parking. Good luck! We also looked at Smithtown Landing and West Sayville, other Lessing's locations, if you have any questions.

I have been contemplating having my RD at the Riverview, but not sure I want by wedding and RD done by Lessings! It looks very nice on the website. The Snapper Inn also looks nice - and somewhat similar to the Riverview. (It's not lessings).
Have you been there yet?

I also looked there for my RD and like backinnewyork, I did not want 2 lessing's events... If you are considering a nighttime event there, be aware that the water is not visible at night, it just looks pitch black. And there is parking issues.

The Snapper Inn is nice--good food. If you don't get the whole place, the rooms they have for separate occasions are small, and close to the main dining area, separated only by glass doors so everyone can see you.

We are having our wedding at Smithtown Landing and so far are very pleased with all the help they have given us.

I am going to take a look at smithtown landing soon....can you tell me a little about it? How is the food/etc? also I was looking into a day wedding...can you give me a round about price p/p? Also, has anyone had any dealings with the brentwood country club or smithtown sheraton?

Depends a lot on time of year..They were really willing to work with price to make it lower, cut out entree options, etc. We looked at Brentwood Country Club--their package deal is very affordable. They didn't try to push us into anything, and the guy was very nice, though he did say, 'You get what you pay for.'

WE looked at many places and fell in love with Timberpoint CC. Lessings is a great and reputable catering company. THey totally worked with us and I really feel like I am getting a great package. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
