Just wanted to give you girls a helpful tip while designing any stationary with a vendor. Closely look at your proof and make sure to check for any errors. I received my invitations with my FH's last name misspelled and my FH and I didn't notice it during the proofing process because it was very deceiving in the font that was used. It was spelled correctly everywhere else except in the main section of the invite where a script font was used. They were sent out and a family member happened to catch it. It is very humiliating and embarrassing. Some vendors feel it is our job to catch their careless errors and I guess that's the point of us having to edit their work? I really don't know. But please make sure you look at every word closely on any stationary that you are designing with a vendor. There has been no sympathy on the vendor's part and that is what is more frustrating considering I worked with them over the past several months.

Re: Lesson Learned
That stinks!
Definitely give everything to MULTIPLE other people to proofread.
Unfortunately once you sign off on the proof, it's not longer the vendor's responsibility

This!
I proofread my invites 5x & had my mother, FH, his mother & my aunt all proofread as well before I signed off on them.
Once you sign off, the vendor is no longer responsible & doesn't necessarily have to reimburse you the money either. My invitation place told me that I was accountable if I missed any mistakes on my invites once I signed & completed the authorization form.
