T you don't want to go there - I have no doubt in my mind that you will end up screaming your head off at someone in that place - I know I almost had it out w/ someone when I brought my best friend there 4 years ago. I have heard bad things and experienced bad salespeople. JMHO!

I got my wedding gown and my mom's gown there. The sales service is great. The alterations are HORRIBLE.

All I needed was the hem and the bustle. Took 3 times to get the hem done right, and it was still slightly uneven but I was fed up since it was the week of my wedding and I didn't want to drive into Brooklyn again.

The bustle wasn't done how I wanted. I wanted a French bustle, but they only do the ones that hook onto buttons at the small of your back. It didn't stay. Everytime I moved it popped off the buttons. My matre'd said it was the worst bustle she's ever seen.

The alterations on my mom's dress was a headache as well.

a dress store in Brooklyn. They do carry a TON of bride and bm gowns - almost any designer you can think of, but their customer service is seriously lacking IMO.

It might not be bad for when Theresa is getting married, they are horrible during peak wedding season so she should still go and look. My girls got their Jim Hjelm dress there, great alterations and great prices. They have a very wide selection. I would say go try on there and order elsewhere if it makes you more comfortable.

Must add, no one treated us badly there, as a matter of fact I was treated great, its just very unorganized and as eroxgirl said CS is not high on their list.

My mom got 2 dresses there - - for my wedding and my brother's. No issues..minor arguments with a rude sales person but the people we met with were nice. They actaully went out of their way on some stuff and did the alterations the day my mom came in for her fitting - because my mom did it all at the last minute. I have heard mixed reviews on the place.
