I have heard that the Rolling Pin is good but have not had a tasting there...
Also, I know this sounds crazy but we saw an episode of My Fair Wedding where David went to Sugar Couture in the city and want to try it out just because him and the bride went nuts on the show because of it...

We are getting ours from Leonettis. Its right up the road from de Seversky on Glen Cove. We use them for everything, and got our red velvet cake from there for our eparty.. People are still talking about how it was the best they ever had!

We're getting our cake from Copenhagen bakery in Northport. Their stuff is really unbelievably delicious, definitely worth checking out.

Baked to Perfection in Port Washington. They did my wedding cake, the groom's cake, my shower cake and my sister's shower cake. Pics are in my albums.
The cakes tasted as good as they looked!

Re: Let them eat ... CAKE
Dortonis is doing our cake next month......don't just go by the pics on the site...you really have to go there......they do beautiful work but, I wanted a cake that tasted good too. The fillings are so yummy. we are doing a buttery vanilla cake with vanilla custard and a thin smear of carmel(creme brulee is our fav ) and cannoli 2 fillings in the same slice. We worked with Candice and she is a DOLL!!!!
