we went last night to get our marriage license (Islip Town Hall is open until 730pm on Tuesdays).

It took all of 10 minutes :)

FH asked when we were leaving if this means we're married. hehee Almost!

We got our license in Queens and we waited forever! We almost missed it too - we were literally the second to last couple to be taken. Everyone else was told to come back the next day.

We got ours in Queens today!!! It took 2 hours! We got there at 8:15 and did not leave until 20 after 10!!! I was so pissed... The computers were slow because they had a new system installed yesterday. FH just thought the computer operators were slow.

I had to tell the lady typing in our information that she was leaving out information...

I'm just glad that part is over!!!

We got ours today! Went to Queens and also took forever. We got there at 10:30 and left at 12:30pm. It was soooo packed as we were leaving, so glad it's done!

We went on may 6th in downtown manhattan. We also picked up our wedding bands on the same day. The town clerks office was INSANE.

We got ours on Friday. I took off work to go. We went to the Town of Hempstead town hall. It was so easy. We were in and out. only 1 other couple was there and they were getting married there. I am so excited

we got ours on may 4.. for the may 5th wedding.

it was vegas. it was REALLY simple.

we waited online for about an hour cause apparently huge numbers of people wanted to get married that weekend (cinco de mayo and mothers day).. and once we got to the 'teller' all we had to do was barely show them our license and we were ready to go.

way too simple.. i see how people get in 'trouble' in vegas lol.
