I must say, what a nice thread!! And what a nice way to start the new year!! I've had the pleasure to meet only a few of you guys in person (at the GTG) and I can honestly say, I look forward to possibly meeting more of you in the future!!

I have met some of you and gotten to know others a bit better through FM. I appreciate all of your advice, and have always enjoyed the company at playdates. I do not start many threads but I reply if I think I have something helpful or nice to stay. I usually stay off the 'heated' threads so they do not bother me at all. The other 99% of the threads is what has kept me coming back for over 4 years.

Everyone on this board has been so helpful and kind..not just to me, but to everyone..
I am always grateful that although I am not close with anyone off these boards that I always have a place to go to ask for advise or simply just to vent.

I am giving a big round of applause to all the women on LIW who post on Parenting - because of them I am learing how to be a parent for when the time comes!! (As opposed to going into it blindfolded!)
