Let's be honest about mailing invites

They are stamped and ready to go. Do I really need to bring them in to the post office?

Bring them to the post office this way u can have them hand stamped. Don't put then into the mailbox.

This is why I'm confused! I brough the idea of doing things by hand to my guy at the post office and he was like 'well, they won't go through a machine, that's why you paid extra for postage.' I pretended to know what he was talking about

You know how on the stamp when u get mail it has that round stamp with the date ect they have a stamp behind the counter that you do manually instead of going through the machine to stamp. I got lucky and the lady let me do it myself. My invites arrived in perfect condition.

ohhhhhh! gotcha. that way the invites won't bend in the machine.

yeah please have them hand stamped

if your envelopes are irregular shaped you DO NOT want them going through a machine

a hand stamp looks nicer too

I bribed the post office lady by letting her keep the canvas tote i brought my invites with me in

ALSO - not every post office will do this!!
call ahead and ask them!
