FH and I started playing scrabble daily and he is kicking my hiney I thought since we all are going to be boring married ladies lets learn some new words together and kick our fh arses in scrabble Use the word below in a sentence....

MEANING:
noun: One who laughs excessively.


ETYMOLOGY:
From Greek hyper- (over) + gelastes (laugher), from gelan (to laugh). A related word is agelast: someone who never laughs.


USAGE:

well if you really want to kick your FHs a** in scrabble, it's not the big words that work, it's the ridiculous little words that add up like all the 2 and three letter ones,

xi, xu, za, pe, fe, etc. ..

I like this one for weddings. . I learned it studying for GREs - it stuck in my head b/c I asked my mom. . who uses words like this and she said, 'that's a basic word that EVERYONE knows' I was like, 'everyone who??' anyway she has a big vocab. .
