Hi name is Elizabeth, FH name is Dewayne we grew up in the same neighborhood and started dating when I moved. Seven years later we got engaged on 6/15/07 on our wonderful trip to Cancun. So off we to the Chateau Briand on 4/02/09 to get married

Met: It was July 2006. I had just graduated from college that May and was working as a waitress at my family's restaurant. I have seen Eric many times before coming in and ordering something to eat. He never talked and always looked so mean. I thought he had a very bad attitude from the beginning. One Saturday he came in and ordered a dinner and a drink. After I took his order I started cleaning off my tables from previous customers and gathering my tips. Now, mind you, here I am minding my own business. He replies 'I saw your ad on Yahoo Personals!'. I was embarrased because he saw me on there. I replied, 'Oh you did huh?'. He tells me that he didn't know that I was single. When I told him that I was he told me that he was single too and was looking for a good woman. So, I started bragging on myself telling him what a good woman I was and how I was tired of all the no good men who didn't appreciate a good thing. He agreed and told me how hard it was to find a decent woman. He asked me for my phone number and my name and I told him my name and gave him my phone number. He gave me his as well. He told me to give him a call that night.

That night I was on the phone with my mother and told her that I met someone. My mother informed me about the three day calling rule 'Never call a man on the same night....Give it three days'. Listening to my mother I decided not to call him that night.

He came to the restaurant again the next day. He told me that he just gotten out of church and wanted something to eat. He asks me 'Why didn't you call me last night?' I replied that I was busy. It was sooo cute cause it looked like his feelings were hurt. After he purchased his food He told me that he was going to call me that same night and he did.

We were on the phone all night getting to know each other and realized how much we had in common. From that moment on I knew he was the one for me.

We dated from July 06 to March 07 and we seperated for three months. In July of 2007 we both attended the AIM Convention in Louisville, KY. We decided to give love another chance and from that day we been in seperatable.



Proposed: We just got out of church when he told me he needed to go to the mall to pick up a video game. When we got there we went to the jewelry store where the salesmen handed him a ring. He told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me!

Hi! Im Kristen 23, im a psych nurse and i absolutely LOVE my job! FH is Tom, 29 hes a police officer. We have been dating for 5 years and I absolutley love him with all my heart. We met at suffolk county community college.

We are currently saving money to buy a house, going to start the process of looking the end of November, i cant wait to buy a house! I wont move in with him till after we are married because i think it will be so exciting, and i guess im a little old fashioned.

So far we have our RH and Ceremony booked, DJ is pretty much booked as well. I have appointments with my photographer and Wedding world in a couple of weeks!

I am Janelle and my FH's name is Kevin. We are both 29, but will turn 30 next year. We currently live in Hoboken, NJ and both work in NYC. I grew up in Bellport and he is from Denville, NJ. We met through mutual friends that I went to college with and he went to grade school with. After college we all became friends. My FH and I knew each other for about 5 years and never thought about dating each other. We were always both in some sort of relationship. One Sunday during football playoffs we went to a mutual friends apartment and the rest is history. We signed our apartment lease after six months of dating. We have been leaving together since Aug 06 and he proposed on July 14th of this year. We are getting married at Chateau La Mer on 5/16/09. So far we have our photographer & videographer (Duet) done. We are going to look at churches this weekend. Hopefully meeting with the Deacon at St. Rose of Lima. I am thinking my colors will be champagne w/ lavender & olive green. We will be doing a monogram/nautical theme. We will be doing a combination of live music and DJ.

I am very glad to meet all of you. This is fun and I really wasn't sure about posting, but I am addicted.

My name is Chantelle, FH is Matt. Im 26 and he is 27. I grew up in Lynbrook, FH grew up in Oswego NY and now we live together in Portand, OR. I go to school out here for my Ph.D. in medical genetics and FH is a superintendent for a construction company. I don't have a darn thing planned yet because I only get home 2 times a year! Hopefully I can get a lot done while I am home for Christmas!

I'm Ryan, 26 and a school teacher from Brooklyn. FH is Joe, 28 soon to be 29, a computer programmer also from Brooklyn. We just got engaged on Saturday while away in England. We were there to see the Giants game on Sunday. He is a Jet fan but booked everything for me b/c he knows how much I love the Giants. We just got engaged so we haven't done much of anything b/c we made a pack to enjoy this week as much as possible before the chaos kicks in
