Let's just say hypothetically...

you changed your mind on your dress, and you stumbled across something else you liked better. Now everytime you envision yourself on your wedding day you see yourself in a dress that you don't actually have. If you couldn't get the dress that you now wanted at the salon that you bought the original...would you suck it up and LOSE 900$ worth of the deposit???? FYI the dresses are two completely different styles...it's not even like they are similiar.

Of course this is all hypothetical

just in my opinion...

if i were to show up to my own wedding in a garbage bag and bunny slippers, it would still be the best day of my life...

for a $900 deposit, i would wear the first dress. That's too much money to lose for something that you still love, but just not as much as you liked something else. Spend the money on something else that you really want.

I think my mom would kill me so I would have to say no LOL $900 is a lot of money which is why I don't plan on getting my dress until I KNOW it is the one I want.

To lose $900 on a wedding dress is clearly too much money to waste. I would have to suck it up and stick with the first dress

I would try the 1st dress on again to remember why you loved it so much in the first place. I think your memory of the dress isn't the same as the feeling you get when you put it on. $900 is a lot of money to waste....

This is great advice...I totally agree...try on the 1st dress again. Maybe you'll fall in love all over again!

Think of all the things you could do with $900 for your wedding day. You are going to look gorgeous no matter what dress you have.

Try on your first dress again and be sure. Also no more looking at other dresses!

Coming from someone who lost $2k on a photographer b/c I no longer 'liked' them and wanted a new one.
(yes my FH almost killed me)

I would def suck up the $900.....you'll never get that day back and you want to know that you are 100% happy with your choices.

Get the 2nd dress!

I would definitely go back and try both dresses on again. Take pictures with both on and make your decision afterwards. Losing $900 would be difficult to grasp, but regretting your dress would be worse. On top of it, I wouldn't want you to be thinking of your other dress on your wedding day. Go with your heart!!!
