Lets make it song day

Thanks to MLHtobe424 for her lovely post about 1st dance songs....

I am now wondering what your Garter and Cake song is.. FH and I were discussing this last night and he was thinking 'Oh' by Omarion for the Garter just for the lyrics 'Oh, will be the sound girl when its going down' And 'Hit me with your best shot ' for the cake.

My cake song is Pour Some Sugar on Me. We haven't figured out a Garter song yet.

We're not doing the garter song. FH doesn't want to go up my dress infront of my dad! But for the cake cutting i think we're going to do 'Sugar Sugar' by the Archies or 'Be Our Guest' from Beauty and the Beast

Cake song is definitely Adam Sandler 'Grow Old with Me' - and I don't think we're doing a garter toss...we're gonna do an anniversary dance instead - haven't picked that song yet.

Phew! Glad I'm not the only one not doing a garter toss!!

I would perfer to skip the cake and the garter being taken off me.. but thats not gonna end up happening =/

not sure about the BOK yet.. but for the cake, the sweetest thing by U2 i love the one line in the song about a blue eyed boy met a brown eyed girl... LOVE IT!!

We're still up in the air about the garter toss, but for the cake we may do 'Can't help myself' ...you know the lyrics...sugar pie, honey bunch, fh and I always liked that song and we think it'll work for the cake!!

I was thinking for the cake cutting maybe doing: The Postal Service version of 'Such Great Heights.' Its nice and upbeat..
