I agree with Mara. I wouldn't want to invitations lost with the Christmas cards at the end of the month so you need to build in some extra time there!!
I'm leaving about 7 weeks for each -- mailing my invites out on Oct 15th with a RSVP DAte of December 10th (50 days before the wedding) and the wedding is January 28th.

better safe than sorry, but NOV is ridiculous. I say mail them between 12/1 and 12/10 so they arrive before Christmas Cards do.

yea i would go with early dec, that way it doesnt get lost with the christmas cards also. Nov is alil too early and people will just lose it and forget it.
