Luigi is home and WOW, what a difference! Because of all of his recent 'accidents', my father made us buy a kennel for him.
It was devastating. This is a dog that has never been caged because he would sleep all day long, and not move from the couch. Tonight, when I came hom, he was sound asleep under a blanket in his cage, and when he heard me come down the stairs, he peeked his little puppy head out and came to the front of the kennel for me to let him out. When I opened the door, he ran out, tail wagging and started doing this jumping thing that we refer to as the 'Luigi Dance'. He has been such a mope for the last three weeks since he has been sick and that is how we realized he wasn't feeling well. I sat on the floor with him, and he proceeded to lick my face like he used to. Thank you all for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers because hopefully this will be the end of his sicknesses. Oh and the best part is his whole episode is his new diet...chicken. Not dog food, but boiled chichen. It seems dog food does not agree with him~have I ever mentioned to you guys his allergy? Other anmimals... Yes, he is almost human...

If you want to let him out of the cage, maybe you can place an old sheet or towels on the couch in case he has an accident. My parents female dog isn't fixed so she has her accidents and my mom puts old sheets all over the couches.

Ya' know, I think I cried more about the whole cage thing than he did...he just sleeps on his blanket and doesn't complain. He is such a great dog. The kids on our block even ring the bell asking if he can come out and play? Thank you all for your thoughts, I mean it sincerely. It's alot easier when you get to tell your story to a bunch of girls than to just sit home a be sad over it. I know the little Wig-man appreciates it too.
