Let's Take a Vow...

Being that we are the furthest away from our weddings on LIW, can we all vow to make our wedding planning process as least stressful as possible???

Honestly I really don't want to turn into a bridezilla. We had our E Party and there was a tad bit of stress involved and I really hated that. All I want is this to be fun for everyone involved! I know that when finances get involved it's hard but I am taking a vow right now....

Wedding planning will be FUN, not too stressful, I will not fight with FH, my parents, or FILs about money, planning, details, etc!!!

haha or at least I will try... anyone else?

I promise!!

I haven't been getting too crazy yet, as we have so much time, but I think i'm trying too hard to not be crazy about wedding planning. I read articles in the wedding mags about girls going overboard and being like 'I got so into planning a wedding that I forgot about the Marriage.' That I'm like ohh no, I can't have that. I've always been scared of getting married, so I will do everything possible to keep the focus on marriage and not just the weddding.... we'll see how that turns out when we've got 5 months to go and I'm prepping invitations!

Hmm...I'll give it a shot:

I will not fight with FH about money, I promise!

I will not fight with my BMs about their dresses, hair, makeup, etc., I promise!

I will not go nuts over the 'little things', such as slipper baskets, programs, cry-packs, etc. (thanks to the 2010 girls, I know better!), I promise!

I will not fight with FH about money, I promise!

I will not fight with my mom and sister about my theme and colors (not from a lack of their efforts to fight), but I promise!

I will not fight with FH about money, I promise!

I will not complain about my BMs lack of participation if any...it's my wedding, not theirs!, I promise!!

I will not fight with FH about money, I promise!

I will try my hardest to not be a bridezilla

I will not fight with FH over wedding related things

I cannot promise I will not fight with FIL's

I will not fight with mom my either!

I do want this to be fun and unstressful time!!

I PROMISE i will try!!! lol


FH and I haven't had too many fights over wedding related things. The hardest thing I know will be the FIL's...

I can almost guarantee there will be many tears involved in my wedding planning when it comes to them. I know FBIL & his wife will have many things to complain about since they dont like me!

Should be interesting but no matter what

we haven't fought over money yet either. We've both been saving equally so i guess we're ok.

We fight over stupid stuff like 'what should our wedding song be'? lol i look at him & laugh, is this really on the top of the list to discuss when we have 611 days till we get married?!? lol

SJR... you're just as busy as me with all the moving around, I brought up pushing the date back even more to FH on the phone this week (because of his whole job situation) and he would not hear it! So thats actually comforting...

I think that this website is a good outlet for us!

I fight with FH about money already too so that's why I am going to TRY my hardest not to. It is so bad for our relationship!!!

I think we can do it! I am sure stress is normal but it's how we deal with it and what we do to make it better that counts.

ITA with all the problems I recently had with my RH you girls were the only ones who understood everyone else was like 'ooo ok bridezilla' but you girls got it and were supportive!

I think planning any 'party' is stressful and hectic and we're planning the biggest day of our lives! but you're right its all how we deal with the stress and the punches!

Ha! I will try, but I already am stressed, and I already find myself fighting with everyone involved over unnecessary things. That also may be the stress of getting a house and working and going to school at the same time...
oh the joys ha.

but yes I will TRY to make this vow ha

This was one of the first fights we had and it was over how much to spend on this wedding. I promised myself NEVER AGAIN!!! We're just gonna do it and get it done, even if it means eating Ramen for the next year! No fighting though!!
