I am clueless for what the DJ are providing in their packages. The couple of weddings I have gone to, it has just been the Dj, MC, lights and that video montage I like. I hear lots of girls talking about plasma tv's and such. What am I missing out on?

Some of the DJ's also offer packages where they take pictures and upload them onto the plasma TV's. I believe they also give you a CD of all the pictures too. Also, not sure if you are interested or not, but some DJ's have packages for give aways too like beads, hats, leis, etc.

some also offer like fog machines, and perimeter lights and stuff ...i would start basic and then do add on's

the plasmas are on the side of their set up, if you need to see a pic let me know, i should have pics of the plasmas i had and they played our montage on the plasmas and also put the pics they took on the plasmas, and also videographer used it to play a video. The DJ also has their own photographer that comes in and does zap photos and plays them on the screen right after taking them. They also can come to your ceremony if you want and take pics to put up on the plasmas. Not all photographers allow this so you have to ask your photographer first, I had originally told the dj's photographer they can come to ceremony to do this but then found out my photographer doesnt want other photographers at the church so had to tell them not to come anymore. After the wedding they do send you the pics theyt ook on a disk, i had about 400 or a bit more pics from them. We did the lighting from them too, and also percussionist.
The other things they offered were sax, and other instruments which we didnt want. Plus live singer, dancers and giveaways i think which we also didnt want

all the plasmas and video montages were pretty expensive, and unnecessary IMO..... so we just got the DJ/MC, lights, a percussionist for the reception, and a custom name plate that will shine our names/monogram on the floor.
