I don't know much about flowers. Where can I start? Do any of you have recommended sites to look at flowers? How do I deal with florist? I don't want to sound like I don't know anything in front of the florist. I want to use my money wisely.
I know I like roses. I am so confused. Do you gals ever feel that way?

I like roses too. I plan on doing all roses for the bouquets, boutinarres (sp??), and corsages.
I suggest going to the vendor and getting some quotes.

I heard that Flowers by Burton and Jack and Rose are resonably priced with flowers. I also found out that Calla Lillies cost 2X as much as roses. I found that to be very interesting. I've started looking for flowers I like on the internet and am going to bring a bunch to the florist to see what will work best for me. Good Luck!

Here are some sites that you can look at to get ideas.
I would not be afraid to sound like you don't know what you are talking about because a good vendor should be able to educate you about what they know best, in this case, flowers. And I wouldn't worry about getting ripped off as long as you look around and get quotes. You will most likely only be clueless for your first appointment, then you will probably have a better idea of what it is you're looking for. Good luck!
