I started registering over the weekend and I am having a little bit of trouble with a bath tub for the baby.
I had originally wanted to go with the Eurobath, but when I saw it, it was huge. How do you fit that in your kitchen sink??? We don't have a particularly large kitchen sink....
I want something that will be used for all stages, but is good..... I have read bad reviews on some of them.
Can you please recommend a bath tub that you love...
Also, I got the tubside kneeler and stool thingy.
What do you think?? Thanks so much, Denise

Re: Let's Talk Bathtubs!
The Eurobath definately does not fit in any sink I've seen! I'm planning to get one, but not until the baby is too big for a sink bath. I couldn't find one that would do the job well for all stages -- and decided that since they aren't that expensive I might as well use the right one for each age.
I'm starting with the Safer Bather which will easily fit in the kitchen sink for a newborn. Baby hasn't come yet, so I'll have to give you more feedback in two months! The main bad review on this one was that it gets stinky after a while. For $15, I'm not going to worry too much especially since baby would outgrow it anyhow. It seems very comfy.

I used the safe bather with Emma and now with Jeremy. I love it. For me its better than having a separate tub. By the time it gets moldy thye are able to sit up anyway and go in the big tub.

Re: Let's Talk Bathtubs!
I had registered for the 4-stage bath system - my sister in law got me this simple yellow plastic tub with a little mesh prop thing. I was like, what's wrong with her, she knows I registered for the other one! Well, when it came time for the first bath, I was so happy to just grab that simple little thing. We have a long counter in our bathroom, so that's where it went, on the counter next to the sink. I don't think it would have fit in the kitchen sink. Since about 6 weeks, we bath her IN THE REGULAR TUB - on a soft mat, with about 3 inches of water - she absolutely loves it, she splashes all around and laughs the whole time. Of course, I understand the dangers of this, and we do not take our eyes off of her for a second. The other day, i went to my girlfriends, and she was bathing her 16 pound boy in this tiny little tub in the sink, she could hardly wash him he was so squished in there! To each his own, right??

I think I have the same one that jpsgirl is describing and it worked great for us. It is a blue tub with a mesh duck sling and also comes with a little cup to pour the water over baby. I registered for something else also, but am so glad I got this as a gift.
Here's a picture:
Jack outgrew his infant tub at about 2 1/2 months, not becasue of his size, but because of his kicking and splashing. He is still to little and slippery for me to bathe in the big tub, so this is the PERFECT in between tub. It is inflatable and the beak even quacks. I got it at Target for $9.99. Just inflate it and sit it in your big tub. Also great for travel. He loves it and takes like a 25 minute bath just splashing and playing.
