The wedding cake isn't really a top priority when we all started planning, but now that 2012 is approaching I know its on my mind!!
What are your ideas/inspiration?
I found the perfect cake topper for us and it inspired me for the cake!! I want the top layer to have a fondant shaped like a 'table cloth' with blush pink pattern (like the scene from the movie), and (like the cake in the topper which I won't put on top of our cake) have blush pink fresh roses around the bottom.
Still trying to figure out what the other three layers will have, something like swiss dotting, quilted, etc.
I want a very smooth cake, buttercream, with gumpaste leaves cascading down it.

Love the cake topper and all these cakes look beautiful! I am getting a personalized cake topper that is going to sit next to the cake. I know that I want my cake to have a castle on top.

I LOVE cake #2 but i'm biased because it looked like mine. but i really like the second tier of the cake inm the 3rd picture - has a lot of texture
