We are practically set on our honeymoon....

Right after the wedding we are doing 4 nights in Vegas for a little minimoon to hold us over until July when we are taking our 15 day European adventure. lol

We are doing:
1 night in Athens
4 nights in the Sand Castle resort on Crete (for free, yay!)
4 nights in London
5 nights in Paris

OMG I wish we were going THIS July.

Let me know when you're in London! I live pretty close to there

We're considering Bora Bora, Hawaii or Italy. If we go to Hawaii or Bora Bora, I'd like to stay in LA or Vegas for a few days.

yup that's what we;re doing...I cannot do that flight the whole way there, have to break it up or I'd go insane

I posted this once before but not many responded but this website seems great and we'll definitely be using it for the hotels in Europe. They always have Tahiti deals too.

Were thinking of going to Maui for 7 days and Kauai for 7 days. We started researching hotels and I hope to book them before the end of the summer.

The honeymoon is harder for us to plan than the wedding has been. We can't decide where and when we want to go. There are too many places to choose from and I don't want to make the wrong choice.

We decided on Punta Cana and we booked the most amazing hotel - Paradisus Palma Real. Adults only - royal service. Ugh I can't wait!!!!!

FH and I were just talking about this tonight! At first we were Sandals all the way,but then the prices were crazy, so that kind of ruled that out. Then we looked into some of the all-inclusive resort in Mexico and they were much more affordable than Sandals. BUT after reading another bride's review about Sandal St. Lucia Grande, I looked into it again today and saw that the resort is 55% off online, which is much more affordable than it was before! So, I'm confused FH just wants to go someplace warm, with lots of food options and no chance of getting sick from the water (we had a bad experience in DR). Right now, he's no help, lol!

Let's talk honemoons! What are you plans? I'm actually more excited to plan the honeymoon than the wedding

This is what we're thinking so far:
Vegas (for a couple days)
Hawaii Maui & Kauai
San Diego, CA on the way back (for a couple days)

Probably around 14-17 day honeymoon :)

I've already started researching hotels, etc. it's addicting!

Alex, that sounds amazing!!!! I'd love to do a long extended honeymoon like that, but I just don't think it will work with our schedules. But honeymoon planning is fun!

Our plan is to go to Hawaii. We haven't started researching anything yet so I am not sure which islands yet but I definitely want to go to at least two, if not more. I am just hoping that we can stay within our budget for the honeymoon and spend a decent amount of time on the islands. Any advice anyone has is welcome!!

We were thinking about going to California for couple of days and then either Hawaii or Tahiti as well. My sister has me paranoid about the affects of the radioactivity in Tahiti, but I'm sure it'll be safe by next year!! I like the idea of going to Hawaii and then taking a cruise around the islands too. So many choices!! We honestly are more concerned about the honeymoon than the wedding day!! haha!!
