Let's talk honeymoons!

Where are you thinking of going?

Originally thinking of Hawaii, BUT FH pointed out to me yesterday that I'm no fun on a plane! I'd be a disaster on a long flight like that!!

so, now it;s Disney for a few days, at a High end resort, then on to either Mexico, Aruba, or somewhere caribbean, lol.

I definitely want to go to Hawaii! I just gotta see how much it costs!

Your disney idea sounds great! I've also been to Aruba and i loved it!

2 weeks european cruise or bora bora..

we go on vacations to the carribean every couple of months so i want the honeymoon to be a lil nicer.

We are thinking Hawaii...but I know there are going to be problems. FH just CANNOT relax on the beach/by the pool for more than 20 minutes. He has to be doing something. I just want to go and chill and enjoy each other for a week with no other cares in the world!!!!

Oh...and there has to be a golf course. I can't ask him to go without playing for more than 3 days!!!!

there are so many things to do in hawaii beyond sitting at the pool. snorkeling excursions, waterfall tours, swimming with dolphins etc. Fh doesnt love sitting by the pool...either do i...and we had a fantastic time in Maui last year!

We are definitely going to Hawaii, I actually just bought the books the girl on Brides Review board posted. I plan on reading ALOT tonight. I'll let you ladies know if the books are good and resourceful.

Where did you stay?

well FH and I had to cut down on costs so we stayed at the Holiday Inn. But if i were going there for my Honeymoon i would def stay at the Occidental Grand (beautiful) and while i was there they were building the Riu, brand new... both have great reviews too

That would be great, thanks!! I am still undecided on if i want to do Hawaii by land or island hopping w/ a cruise.

I've been dying to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Does anyone know if they have any all- inclusives there? I've been told it's unlikely..

I'd absolutely love to go to any island in the South Pacific, but its super expensive. Other options are Hawaii and Greece.

My best friend went to Greece on her HM...just got back...she went to Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos...her and the hubby had an absolute BLAST!!!

i dont think there are many, if any, all inclusives in hawaii. i'd go to a travel agent to find out for sure.

not exactly sure yet. i think we'll have to see how much it ends up costing. ideally we want to go to Europe (specifically Ireland). if that doesn't happen, we're going to go to California and Las Vegas. I was in Hawaii last year and even though it was beautiful, I'm not sure I'd want to go back so soon.
