Lets talk proposals!!

So ladies, how did this glorious event come about? Were you surprised? Was he all romantic about it?

Mine was a total surprise! I didn't expect him to ask anytime soon, because I know he worries about money and such...wanted to be settled with a house and less debt first, but he did anyway.

Now we just have to go pick a ring! (He didn't want to get one without me, worried that I wouldn't like it.)

FH and I celebrate our 6 year anniversary tomorrow :) We were dating for 5 and a half years when he proposed. I was so surprised when he asked me!!! We have plenty of time since the wedding is not until 2014- no rush at all :)

I feel like I'll keep saying 'oh, we still have plenty of time' and then BAM! 2014 will be here lol. can't believe it's nearly 2012 already!

Congrats girls!

The FH and I have been together for almost 5 years this up coming April. We have been engaged for 1 year already. He proposed last holiday season under the Rockefeller center tree, what a romantic he is.

We are not in a rush with getting married and so excited that we have choose a date and are on our way to our dream wedding!

Crashing: That's how I felt too, and now I am 3 months away from my wedding! We got engaged in 2010...soo crazy how time flies!!

He placed the ring on my finger while I was sleeping this past Christmas Eve and I awoke to him on one knee

chris picked me up at my house and as we were driving he was looking at me,and I asked him why he was looking at me so funny..he said no reason I always look at you and you yell at me lol..so we got to his house and when we walked in the front door (me first) I put my stuff down and then looked up and saw candles everywhere! and roses and balloons,and I thought we interrupted his parents lol so I went to turn around and push him out of the door,well when I turned he was on one knee and asked me to marry him,then we walked over and I saw the champagne and the ring in a little precious moments box. As we were hugging his parents came out from hiding around the corner in the other room LOL,and were all excited and yelling,so we all had some champagne and went and told my parents :)

FH proposed to me in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa-- seriously! We were about to take a picture together in front of the tower and he pointed out a t shirt in the distance that I had been looking to buy. When I looked over to it, he took the ring out of his pocket and when I turned back to him, he was on one knee. His sister was able to film the whole thing. He later said he had a whole speech prepared, but in the moment, all that came out was 'Marry me?' I can only hope the wedding will be as magical!

I walked into our apartment and the TV was on with a video montage of pictures of us along with our favorite love songs. There were rose petals, balloons, bouquet of my favorite flowers (daisies), champagne, champagne flutes, chocolate covered strawberries. I was in shock. I literally said 'what is going on?' I turn around and my boyfriend is on his knee! I immediately started crying and he said such beautiful words and asked me to marry him! Of course I said YES!! We later went out to celebrate at a lovely Italian restaurant. It was the happiest day of my life.

yay I get to add here now that I'm engaged :) he proposed on the maid of the mist boat in niagara falls. it was raining, the waterfall was spraying water all over the place so as he got down I thought he was just ducking out of the way like most people were doing. until I suddenly see a diamond ring then he's like will you marry me? I just said omg omg omg omg until he said is that a yes? and I said yes. he proposed with just a basic ring so tmw we get to go get the real diamond I want and a band :) he just didn't want to propose without a ring so he had to get something.
