Let's talk tats

Let's talk tats

So DH & I are looking for a great tattoo artist who can do a very intricate, detailed SMALL tat. The ring finger... We don't want to just have names, we want it to be a design. But we also have to be able to cover it up with our wedding bands, so it's gotta be tiiiny.

Anyone know of a GREAT artist who specializes in detail?

HAH!
My cousin/moh danielle did that on her ring finger...she did a heart.
Mike sometimes gets his tatoos in Baldwin on Sunrise Hwy.....they usually are good, but there is a nicer one on Surise I think Wantaugh or Bellmore. It looks more upperclass....

good luck!

Davinci's in Wantagh is good, FH and I had work done there. Now we go to Kings Ave tattoo in Massapequa (maybe N Massapequa) because the artist FH worked with moved from Davinci to open up Kings Ave. We're actually getting wedding tattoos there as well.

Go to the Devil's Rose- the owner Eric is amazing!!

He worked at Lotus Tattoo in Sayville for years and he just opened up The Devil's Rose in Bluepoint and few months ago. I know there's a few month waiting list but he's worth the wait!

He's done all of mine (7) and DH's tattoos (ALOT)!!!

He's also goes light on the needle, which is GREAT! He truly is amazing!

The picture doesn't do justice!!

I originally had a ladybug tatted on my toe by some idiot and Eric covered it up with the flower

If you're in Suffolk my friend's dad owns Cliff's tattoo. Ask for Rob....he's awesome. Or his dad Cliff

We just discussed this on the '08 boards the other day. Many girls shared experiences that either they had, or their friends had....the overall consensus shows that a tat on the finger fades away really fast and begins to blur over time due to it. Just a thought for you.

VERY TRUE- my toe also fadeed really quick!! Eric said its b/c the skin is so thin, they can't go deep, not many layers!!

Yup and also, the skin on hands and feet 'shed' the quickest AND hands are always in water which makes it worse. I really wanted to do this too, even if FH didn't want to. After hearing how bad it will look I won't do it anymore.
