LET'S TRY IT A DIFFERENT WAY

HOW MUCH PER PERSON IS EVERYONE SPENDING ON THEIR BM'S AND GM'S GIFTS.
I TRIED ASKING ANOTHER WAY BUT I GUESS I WORDED IT WRONG CAUSE I KNOW THERE IS NO RULE AND IT DEPENDS ON MY BUDGET BUT I'M CURIOUS WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS SPENDING TO COMPARE AND TO SEE WHAT IS NORMALLY SUGGESTED.

P.S. THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO RESPONDING TO THE FIRST ONE I GUESS I SHOULD OF PUT IT A DIFFERENT WAY

about $50 to $75/person probably... a little more on the Best Man and MOH...

Around $80 per person. We have 9 BM's and 8 GM's otherwise we'd probably spend a bit more.

$25- $50 ... I have 21 total in my bridal party , and I do not have $.. If I can find something lower then that, I may jus go with that!

If it was up to my FH, he would get his Groomsman a pair of Calvin Klein Draws and keep it moving. He's not into spending money on gifts for people..

We only have my maid of honor and best man, so I think we are going to spend $100 on each

I'm thinking around $50 - $75 for each. We have 12 all together.

We are spending about $125 on GM and $200 on BM. Keep in mind that we are having a wedding weekend of activities that they will be involved in so it is high.

Approx $50-60 pp and for my moh's approx around 75$.. I dont know what though.
I am tossing around the idea of the jewelry for wedding day ( thats around 20 bucks each0 then i was thinking possibly a gift cert for a spa manicure or pedi.. theres a place by my house that does it amazing with hot rocks and scrubs. Oh its heaven. Tats around 20 bucks and then i have 10 bucks to work with, i was thinking maybe a spa basket, loofah,lotion and soaps...

Moh's same thing along with another gift.

I'm only having one MOH and one BM.

BM is a musician and handyman... translation, never has money and has declared bankruptcy twice so we are picking up the cost of his tux and probably a $50. gift certtificate to Guitar Center of Home Depot. I doubt we will even get a gift from him. He lives hand to mouth, literally. So total, including tux, over $200. FH has been married before and doesn't want a bachelor party so the BM has no expenses.

My MOH is different. She is a part-time wedding planner, my best friend of twenty years, is putting on my entire shower (mom is deceased, no sisters, no BM), lives out of state and I've been calling her about this even before I got engaged... sometimes several times a day. I'm paying for her hair, makeup, mani/pedicure, maybe a massage same day as me and at least $100 gift. So well over $200. but she is putting in infinite amount of time helping me, is paying for my shower and has to rent a hotel room when she is here. FH and I have discussed this and he thinks it's fair considering the circumstances.

I only have my sister and two small nieces. I plan on getting my sister something from Tiffany's for about $250 and American Girl dolls for my nieces, which are $100.

We're only spending about $50 on the GM's gifts, in contrast

I am spending about $300 on each girl. I know it sounds crazy but they all mean so much to me and I can.

I guess a rule of thumb is to do what you can afford. The price is not what's important....it's the thought...I truly believe that.

I should probably add that I am not including the costs of buying the girls their dresses and having their makeup done. If you figure that in then --holy moly....
