Letterpress Invitations

How much have people spent on letterpress invitations. I know they're more expensive, but FH loves the way they look, so I'm trying to make sure we get a reasonable deal.

Thanks!

I love the letterpress as well. I've been looking at some prices on websites direct from the printers. They are more expensive - one site I figured for 150 invitations would cost me over 5K after the response cards, envelope liners, etc. But I also found another site that was more reasonable (dauphinepress.com). I'm debating whether it's worth the extra money. Basically, it costs a lot for them to set the machine, so the more you buy, the more it starts evening out with other types of invitations. At this point, I'm hoping each letterpress invitation will only be like $1 or $2 more than the thermography.

I'm looking forward to hearing from people who've ordered these invites and what their experiences were!

my invites were letterpress and were fairly inexpensive.

i got them from etsy seller smallprinter

and they are amazingly beautiful!

I am probably budgeting around 1000 for invites.

I know its crazy, but I love letterpress, I love paper, and I would rather spend the money on invites than on something else.

I found the best prices came from the NC printers, Reaves Engraving. They did a great job on letterpress & engraving for friends of mine. I could only afford thermography, but I really wished I went with the letterpress!!
