Letterpress invites? Anyone considered?

Letterpress invites? Anyone considered?

Just curious if anyone has considered letterpress invites. And what they think of the cost, worth it?

I don't know, I have a few samples and I just love them.

Any thoughts?

I really love them but in the end I decided that it wasn't worth it to me, and I would rather spend the money somewhere else. I just couldn't justify it....so we ended up DIYing instead, and I like how they came out, even though no letterpress!

To get my invites letterpress it would have been an additional 780 dollars for my invite and four insert cards.
I decided that the string quartet costs that much for the ceremony!!!

really depends on the design and price you are willing to spend. I love letterpress and even with being a graphic designer who gets things half price it wasn't worth the cost to me. But I have seen some friends who got it and honestly I truly loved it. The design was elegant and showcased the typography and paper selection (extremely expensive and rare papers) and they used specialty metallic inks but paid A LOT for it.

I Love letterpress invitations. There is something so simple and elegant about them. I usually suggest to my clients that want letterpress that all they need is a pretty design and that is it. The invitation stands beautifully on its own without a lot of embellishment!

I'm so confused!

They are gorgeous but so expensive, is it worth it, I don't know anymore...
