Letting FH see dress before big day??

So tell me how do you feel about this. Is it such a big deal? Especially if you are going to take pictures before the ceremony.

i am waiting..she can't show me anything, jelelwy, makup, hairstyle..ntohing

i want to be amazed and in awe when i see her for the first time

I'm not showing him it until it's on me the day of but it's totally up to you.

How does your FH feel?
Mine didn't want to know what my dress looked like, how I was doing my hair - anything. He wanted to be completely surprised - and he was he almost went down when I walked down the aisle.

i'm not letting FH see my dress or anything before the wedding.. even though we'll be getting married in vegas first and then having the jewish ceremony 2 weeks later.

we're taking pictures beforehand.. but we're going to do a mini preview so he can still be surprised and we can get that picture of him seeing me for the first time

no way is he seeing me or my dress before i walk down that aisle...looking forward to that once in a lifetime moment of him seeing me for the first time walking down the aisle!

i also saved pictures of other dresses not even close to what i'm wearing on our computer, so if he tries to peek he'll just see something completely different!

Well Fh has seen my shoes, and makeup]
as far as the dress, he knows thats eve of milady but that doesnt mean much to him,
as far as hair...he'll see my trials, but i wont let him know which i go with....

Yes he's seen me in it and loves it. He's since said that he doesn't want to see it again until that day. He's a guy, know he'll forget bythe time the wedding comes around.

I showed my FH a pic of another bride in the same dress because I wanted his opinion. I wasn't too worried about spoiling the surprise because I don't think he will remember what it looks like when the wedding comes around. And since your wedding is in 2006, I wouldn't worry either if you gave him a peak right now.

That said, I don't think he should see you wearing the dress, just maybe a picture of it.

I didn't want my FH to see my dress until the day of our wedding. But stupid me, left a picture of the dress out accidentaly, and now he knows what it looks like! Hopefully, he won't remember it was six months ago.
It is up to you, I am just silly and superstitious.

I was in debate about this too. But i have decided no i dont want him to see me. I want him to be totally suprised.

I'm not letting him see my dress until the day of. We are doing pictures a couple of hours before. Otherwise I want it to be a surprise!

I think this is a matter of personal preference. Fi is very traditional and does not want to see my dress, hairstyle, nothing. We are not seeing each other before hand either. So it's really up to you and FH. It's such a personal thing - go with what works for you!

I personally would wait till the day of the wedding, we are getting married at the reception site and im not even letting him see me till i walk down the aisle, cause its just important to me to have that memory of his face when he first sees me...im gonna lose out on pics by not seeing him before hand but memories last a lot longer than pictures so im fine with that. It really is a personal choice..its up to you!

my personal preference, he's waiting! i want to surprise him that day when i walk down the aisle, but if you don't care then i say go for it
