I go for my Level 2 ultrasound on Friday morning and was wondering if anyone could tell me how long the procedure takes? I have a meeting at work and I'm not sure if I should change the time or not.

I think I was there for at least an hour or more. Sorry, don't remember exactly. Why don't you call the place and ask how long it usually takes?

I just called the Dr's office, they said about 1/2 an hour? Does this sound right?

The procedure only takes about 1/2 hour, but don't forget to figure in waiting time as well. Good luck

Mine only took about 45 minutes. They took us right away and the rest of the time we just watched in amazement! Good luck!

The procedure itself takes about 20 minutes but figure to leave yourself an hour in case they are running behind.

Its a sono - taken between 18-21 weeks and it measures all of the baby's organs to make sure everything is normal and baby is progressing right on schedule. You can also find out the sex at this visit :)

We were in the room for the actual sonogram for about 40 minutes. The girl really took her time and took alot of pictures. We were there for about 1 1/2 total.
