LEVITZ Furniture
I am sooooooooooooo angry with them right now. DH and I purchased a couch on Monday from their clearance section. Well, they told me it would be delivered on Friday. So, I get a call about 12pm today only to learn that the delivery company they deal with out in Atlantic City, NJ
, do not do deliveries to Manhattan until Monday! ***. There wasnt even a mention of this possibility when we purchased the couch! Then they call to tell me the day before after DH took our old couch apart and dragged it down to the basement of our builiding where you can only leave furniture on Wed and Fri. and he also took off from work to wait for the delivery. I am fuming now. I told the guy he needs to make phone calls and get my couch out tomorrow!!!! Under their policy it says I have to call to reschedule a delivery at least 48 hours before, but they can call me and tell me the day before. I am fuming!Sorry so long, I had to vent.

I got my couch from Levitz with no problems... sorry you both had troubles!!!

I spent all day yesterday on the phone...mostly on hold. I called the main number and the showroom. I asked to speak with the general supervisor of the showroom and it took about 15 minutes before the receptionist came back on the phone to tell me that he wasnt there. Then I asked for his name and she only gave me the first name; apparantly, he doesnt give out his last name because 'he's a wierdo' according to the receptionist. Really professional
So, I'm getting my furniture on Monday anyway. I am going to write a letter of complaint and send them a copy of their mission statement. Maybe I'll get some form of compensation.
