I don't think it's possible to get a Brazilian Wax without pain!!
Wish I knew a place to go! Sorry.
Good luck!

Re: LI Brazilian Wax Sites
I have never had a Brazilian but I do go to a great lady who does my regular waxing. The place she works at is Ambiance on Glen Cove road (right in the shopping center off the LIE service road) and her name is Diane. She is great....she uses this spray that takes a lot of the stink out and is really fast. I know she does the Brazilian too...she always asks me if I want to do that
milage (sp?) on jericho trnpk...by the bowling alley (east of 106)
she uses high end wax...(my eyebrows don't hurt...but I cant speak of the other - but she said it doesn't)
she also does it at her home...which is probably less expensive...If you want her home # FM...just don't want to post it for the world to see

Re: LI Brazilian Wax Sites
There is a nice place in Setauket. It is right off 25 called Natures Touch. Very professional, clean, etc. It costs $30 for a brazilian. They use a sugar wax which is supposed to be good for your skin...all I can say is it STILL hurt like hell, mainly the first time, or anytime you are close to your monthly friend.
However, a word of caution. Sure, it looks great once its done, however once you STOP, ingrown hairs may start. This has happened to several of my friends. I for one NEVER had them before, and now I get them sometimes

I am curious, too. For those of you who have had it done- how bad is the pain really??? What can you compare it to? I would love to go, but I am terrified!

Re: LI Brazilian Wax Sites
it's really not bad... it's comparable to your eyebrows being done, just warmer, and a little more tender... but all in all not bad! your mind plays tricks on you is all....

Lisa: I remember you talking to me about it months ago and I still haven't had the courage to do it. Maybe I'll do it after the bar exam. If I can get through that, I can get through anything
