Hey, thought it would be cute to see who the out of towners are.

I was in Albany (Troy-RPI student). Now I am in the Bronx (Riverdale area).

I live in Brooklyn now, and originally came from New Jersey. But I'll be moving to LI soon, so this made the most sense.

I am currently in Michigan but will be moving to Maryland at the end of the summer!
I do miss LI, though.

Where in MD are you moving to? I live in Germantown, MD. I moved in with FH last April. Before that, I lived in the District for 5 years. I am originally from Suffolk County.

I grew up in Bayside too! Small world.. I went to American martyers and then P.S. 188. (only was there for elementary years)

Moved to Holbrook till graduation, then moved to Florida for college, back to LI, realized I couldn't get a teaching job in the decade, so now I am back in FL!!! I couldn't be happier- we are getting married in NY in June, and we are building a house down here! Couldn't afford that on LI!
(trying to get the parents to move down as well)

Hi,

I'm really late on this thread and all I talk about is that I am an OOT bride.

Right now I live in Chicago (grad student at Northwestern U). My parents live in Brooklyn. FH parents moved out of NY to Florida about 5 years ago.

I grew up in Yonkers but moved to Louisville KY last June to be w/ FH. First time I moved out of my parents house!! I'm hoping to move back to NY in the next year or so...I miss it so much!!

I grew up in Bayside, Queens, went to college in the Midwest, lived in Chicago for awhile and then spent 4 years traveling for work - I have lived ina bout 19 states in a 4 year period!

Now I live in NYC with FI, but we are moving back to Queens after the wedding.
