Could we somehow do it earlier in August? Everyone tends to do a last minute getaway or vacation mid to late August. How about the 1st or the 8th of August since those fall on a Friday? We could do an after work g2g rather than having people travel into the city unnecessarily on a Sunday (Tourist season is in full effect argghh). I agree somewhere near Penn Station/LIRR would be the best for everyone.

it might be hard to do an after work on a friday...what about a sunday instead? that way we can all relax and not have to worry about rushing to get ready and get into the city before 9pm!! (If you work until 6, get home shower and get ready and then the hour-hour and a half train ride, you get there really late...)

As for the NYC g2g I definatly want to come- but I'm not a big city person so I have no suggestions. Just tell me how to get there from penn and i'll be there!!
