LI girls, I need your knowledge and ideas!

we are looking for a place to spend Monday and Monday night for our (very) mini honeymoon out on LI.

it doesn't matter, Nassau or Suffolk-have car and will travel- it just has to be nice, and conducive to 'honeymoon activities'

Help a girl out please! TIA

Maybe a bed & breakfast out east somewhere - north or south fork!

that sounds great, but the problem is...I AM COMPLETELY clueless about all things LI

more specific locations (names, towns) would be greatly appreciated!

I stayed here and thought it was pretty. It's in Montauk right on the water. It is expensive, though. Here's a link:

i would maybe go out east, northfork and stay at an inn and go to the vinyards.....not sure of what hotels..but there are a bunch of wineries...pindar, puglesie..etc...i will look online..

jess i found this site..they list some places.. i bet if you do a post asking for northfork recc. you will get a lot on bhb....

Definately out east and go to the vineyards and nice dinners and shopping around the towns.

Oheka! It is not too far from your reception hall and it is beautiful. If you do a search on here you can find pictures of all the rooms from last years showcase. I will try to find it for you. Good luck!

I absolutely agree with going out east and spending time in the vineyards. Pindar and Raphael are really nice. I don't know of any hotels out there though.

How about Danfords (on the water) and then having a day down in Port Jeff. There are some really cute shops and great restaurants.
