LI Sound

Hi ladies-

So I'm very torn about a DJ. We met with LI Sound tonight after seeing them at a Bridal Expo last night, and we were completely blown away...until we saw the price! I've seen them get some pretty good reviews, but I think their price is waaay over our budget. We can make some cuts to the package, but I don't want to feel like I'm missing out on something that could make the wedding even more amazing...

Have any of you met with them or have any experiences with seeing them at a wedding? Any advice on their pricing or opinions of them would be appreciated.

I haven't started to look in to DJs yet. Still not sure if I'm going to use a big wedding vendor or a family friend. I met LI Sound at an expo and the 2 guys I spoke with were really nice. I LOVED their photobooth.. so much fun!

Do you mind FM the quote they gave you and what was included? TIA!

I saw them at an expo in Ronkonkoma yesterday and I thought they were great. Might be thinking about going with them as well but now I'm a little concerned after hearing about what they quoted you. Can you FM with the package they offered and the amount.

I saw them at the expo in Ronkonkoma too. I am really impressed with them, but I know if we go with them we will have to trim down what we want or figure out how to come up with the extra cash LOL. I will send you the info via FM.

Yea I saw them and loved them too and i though the same thing but we want with a different DJ.... b/c of the price and it was over budget for us too

Can someone FM me real quotes?
Most had flyers with pricing @ showcases- are they negotiable?
Do you NEED a DJ & MC? Do they actually DJ or do they ipod it (and whats the point of a DJ if they do that!!)

I heard lots of great things about them as well, and have plans to meet with them next month. I'm already out of my budget with things, so hearing this makes me wonder now. Can you FM me with the package they offered and the amount please?

We actually booked LI sound already, even though we are two years out from our date. We absolutely love them, we have many friends that have used them and are using them and have heard nothing but amazing things.

As far as their packages, it really depends honestly what you want, their package for just their DJ and MC and regular light set up wasn't too pricey. The way I look at it is, that sometimes you have to pay a little bit more to guarantee that you get amazing service. A DJ is one of the most important vendors so I definitely would splurge on them! :)

Yea we saw their setup and fell in love with everything they showed us!!! Their basic setup is completely reasonable, but the add-ons that we want are what is going to cost us. My FH looks at it the same way- if it's a good service and they are one of the most important vendors of the day- then it's worth the extra cash. We just need to figure out saving the extra money over our budget is going to be worth it to guarantee that we get what we want, and I'm having trouble with that.

Who is going to be your DJ and MC?

Abby would you mind fm your quote? we r working on djs now too and have an afoot w bravura next week, they wowed us but the price is a lot. I am looking forward to seeing our dj tmrw at our e party to compared to. I think we will go over budget to get what we want it's just a matter of how much over w all the upgrades we want.
